The Integration of The Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma with the Pubilc Participation in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation by the Yang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were: 1) to study of the Integration of The Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma with the Public Participation in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation by the Yang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province, 2) to compare the Integration of The Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma with the Public Participation in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation by the Yang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province, classified by gender, age, education level, and occupation, and 3) to study the Integration of the Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma with the Public Participation in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation by the Yang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province. It was a quantitative research. The population used in this research consisted of 4,426 people aged 18 years and over, sample group of 354 people. The research instrument was a five-rating scale questionnaire with content validity between 0.67-1.00 and reliability at 0.96.
          The research results found that:
          1. The Integration of the Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma With the Public Participation in Disaster Prevention and Mitigation by the Yang Kham Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Phon Sai District, Roi Et Province. Overall and in each aspect, they are at a high level, ranked in order of average scores from highest to lowest as follows: Disaster prevention and relief, disaster victim assistance, government and social assistance, and training.
          2. Comparing of the Integration of the Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma With the Public Participation in Disaster Prevention, classified by gender age education level and occupation overall were no difference.
          3. Recommendations on the Integration of the Seven Principles of Aparihaniyadhamma With the Public Participation in Disaster Prevention by there should be a consultation meeting to prepare to reduce damage from disasters, such as preparing resources, planning, and managing emergencies.
