Strategic Leadership of Administrators Affecting Success of World Class Standard Schools Under the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office

Abstract

          This research aims to: 1) examine the strategic leadership of school administrators under the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office, 2) investigate the success of international standard schools under the same jurisdiction, 3) analyze the relationship between the strategic leadership of school administrators and the success of international standard schools, and 4) identify the aspects of strategic leadership that influence the success of these schools. The sample group consisted of 320 school administrators and teachers selected from a population of 1,812 using Krejcie and Morgan’s sampling formula. A stratified proportional random sampling method was applied, using school size as the stratification criterion. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, including frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
          The research results found that:
          1. The overall and individual aspects of strategic leadership among school administrators in Nonthaburi’s secondary education sector were at a high level.
          2. The overall success of international standard schools was also at a high level.
          3. A statistically significant positive relationship (r = 0.735) was found between the strategic leadership of school administrators and the success of international standard schools at the 0.01 significance level.
          4. The key strategic leadership factors influencing the success of international standard schools included organizational balance, revolutionary thinking, ethical execution, and strategic direction setting. These factors collectively predicted 57.80% of the success of international standard schools, with statistical significance at the 0.01 level.
