Social Engineering Classroom Project for Developing Students and Elevating Innovation for Local Communities through Social Engineering Processes

Abstract

             The purposes of this research were: 1) to study and promote the development of four key student characteristics in accordance with the Royal Educational Policy, namely having a positive and appropriate attitude, a stable and resilient life foundation, employability, and being disciplined and responsible citizens, by using research- and innovation-based knowledge as developmental tools; 2) to develop students’ social engineering skills, including thinking, communication, coordination, and innovation skills, as well as skills for serving as social engineering advisors; and 3) to create and enhance local community product innovations in Surat Thani Province through student-driven social engineering skill processes.
             The research results found that:
             1. Promote and develop students to have four important characteristics in accordance with the royal privilege of education, namely, a good and correct attitude; have a solid life foundation, a job, and be a good citizen with discipline by using research and innovation as tools for implementation In the field of student development activities at Rajabhat Thani University Reskill Upskill New skill is organized to develop Soft Skills with a social engineering process that has the idea of developing students in accordance with educational chorax. With students participating in the program separated by gender Found that there were 84 male students, representing 28 percent and Female, 216 people, accounting for 72 percent, respectively. Found that there are students by grade Sorted in descending order as follows: 3rd year students, the most 105 people think 35 percent. The number and percentage of students participating in the project are separated by faculty. Found that there are students separated by faculty. Sorted in descending order as follows: 75 students in the Faculty of Management Science.
             2. In the development of students with 4 social engineer skills, namely thinkers, communicators Coordinator and innovator and develop skills as a social engineer consultant in evaluating social engineer performance assessments by self-assessment of students The results of social engineer performance assessments by student self-assessments show that students have the most liaison skills. ± S.D.
