Transformational Leadership of the Administrators as Evaluated by the Teachers in Vocational Institutes under the Office of Vocational Education, Kalasin Province

The objectives of this study were to survey and compare the transformational leadership of administrators at vocational colleges under the Office of Vocational Education, Kalasin Province as evaluated by the teachers classified by their educational levels and work experience. The population included 375 teachers in the vocational institutes under the Office of Vocational Education, Kalasin Province. The sample were 191 teachers, obtained by stratified random sampling method. The Transformational Leadership of Administrators Questionnaire, with 5-point rating scale, was used for data collection. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. It was found that overall and each aspect of transformational leadership of the administrators as evaluated by the teachers, overall and each aspect was at a high level. The comparison of the teachers’ evaluation of transformational leadership of the administrators, classified by their educational level that overall and each aspect was statistically different, and work experience revealed that overall was statistically different, except for the role model of leadership, there was no significant difference.
