Management Skills of the 21 Century School Administrators in Chang Kwa Network Group under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

The research objectives were 1) to study management skills of the 21 century school administrators in Chang Kwa network group, under Suratthani Primary Educational Service Area Office 1; and 2) to compare measurement of management skills of the 21 century school administrators in Chang Kwa network group of teachers classified by education level and work experience. The sample was school teachers in Chang Kwa network group totaling 73 people, obtained by simple random sampling. The research instrument was a 5-point rating scale questionnaire to measure the management skills in 5 aspects, namely, Human Relations, Critical and Creative thinking, Communication, Technology and Use of Digital, Management Techniques. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test. The results revealed that 1) management skills of the 21 century school administrators in Chang Kwa network group overall were at high level; and 2) comparison of management skills measurement of  the 21 century school administrators in Chang Kwa network group by teachers classified by education level and work experience overall was not statistically different.
