Abstract

The study examined the model congruence of causal factors and effects of organizational agility within the Thai electrical and electronics industrial sector through empirical data; and investigated the mediating role of organizational agility between antecedent and consequence factors. The research methodology employed an in-depth qualitative method to refine and contextualize the questionnaire within contemporary business dynamics for the quantitative phase. Subsequently, a quantitative approach was implemented, utilizing a stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 420 organization executives, and structural equation modeling was analyzed using the Partial Least Squares approach. Findings were as follows: 1) The proposed structural model demonstrated empirical congruence. 2) Knowledge capabilities positively mediated organizational agility, with primary impacts on organizational performance, followed by competitiveness, organizational survival, and market responsiveness speed. Subsidiary influences were observed where innovativeness capabilities, reconfiguration capabilities, and human resources capabilities. 3) Information technology capabilities failed to significantly mediate organizational agility's influence on outcomes. This research contributes to theoretical development and knowledge enhancement concerning organizational agility that is applicable across various business administration disciplines.
