Factors affecting a home purchase intention under the concept of designing to connect with Biophilic value under real estate context
Keywords:
Biophilic value, utilitarian value, hedonic value, ecological worldview, purchase intentionAbstract
This literature review examines the factors influencing home purchase intention in the context of eco-real estate, with a focus on Biophilic Design, consumers’ perceived value, and ecological worldview. The findings indicate that Biophilic Design positively affects consumers’ perceived value in both hedonic and utilitarian dimensions. These two dimensions act as important mediators that significantly influence purchase intention. In addition, ecological worldview plays a key role in strengthening perceived value by reflecting consumers’ level of environmental consciousness in evaluating eco-housing.
