TEMPLE OF MANAGEMENT IN MUEANG DISTRICT PHETCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This article was a study of temple management conditions compared with public’s opinions and the solutions to the problems of temple management in Mueang district; Phetchaburi province. This was a mix-method research; the findings were that the temple management conditions in overall were at a high level, the different personal factors had no different opinions, therefore rejected the research hypothesis. Ways to solve the temple management condition; that was, maintenance should have a systematic account of revenue-expenses and religious properties of the temple, creating unity and cooperation in work, for governance, there should be monitoring and advice for the temple’s residents to comply with the Dhamma and the Sangha Supreme Council of Thailand rules.
