Abstract

This academic paper aimed to present a perspective on amnesty. that is a legal measure used to forget the past offences. especially political crimes. causing offenders to not be prosecuted and if there was a judgment The judgment of the punishment will be overturned. Amnesty thus forgets that an offense has been committed. Even though the current government is an elected government. but in fact, it is the succession of power that comes from the coup. Despite the declaration of amnesty through the current edition constitution. It is a legal measure that is used to forget past offences. Therefore, the promotion of democracy in Thai society is equal and equivalent. If there is forgiveness, that is, forgiveness of body, speech, and mind before the political equalization of white poltics. “Amnesty” will therefore be a process for building a complete democracy.
