MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT OF AMPHAWAN MEDITATION CENTRE AS THE FIRST IN SINGBURI PROVINCE

The purpose of this research article is to study the general condition, the administrative process and to present the development the management at the 1st Singburi Meditation Center, Amphawan Temple. The research is applied by mixed method between quantitative research utilizing a survey research method by collecting data in the field of 370 samples, and qualitative research studying of documents and using in-depth interview with the 10 key informants. When collecting all information, the researcher used them for descriptive analysis.
From the result, it indicates that: 1. The whole management in general was at the highest level ( = 4.37, S.D. = 0.48). 2. The overall management process was at a high level ( = 4.42, S.D. = 0.49) The accommodation is available and suitable for the situation. The instructor is a good behavior, a good role model and respectful character. The management has a clear timetable for meditation practice entire the year. In addition, there are clear rules and regulations. 3. The guidelines for managerial development, the number of meditational practitioners should be limited to suit the accommodation. The meditational instructors should be added to taking care of practitioner, and to increase the time for dharma talk and answering the question. The management is to add more staff to fit the task for improving the service standard.
