BUDDHIST PRINCIPLES WITH LEADERSHIP NEW NORMAL

Abstract

The objective of this article was to present the Brahmavihara IV to apply in leadership in new normal era that adapted to current situation. Leadership in new normal era should be able to make employees believe and trust in the leaders and also be able to persuade in the same direction and overcome the crisis by using Brahmavihara IV. The leaders should have 4 compositions: First; Metta, Vision Leaders need to see far, to be ready for timely change and to be willing to help each other. Second, Karuna, Integrity, leaders must have moralalty, ethics, adhere to rules, regulations, fairness, focusing on talking, finding reasons, not being silent. Next is Mutita; Positive thinking, Leaders must always have a positive attitude, clear, caring, caring for the welfare and well-being of personnel. Lastly; Ubhekkha, neutrality, the leaders should have neutrality, leaders must have a neutral mind, dare to think, dare to act, keep up with the situation, must be mindful at all times.
