THE MODEL OF BUDDHISM PROPAGATION OF SANGHA IN PUNPHIN DISTRICT SURATTHANI PROVINCE

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To study the general situation of Buddhism dissemination by monks in Punphin District, Suratthani Province, 2. To study the development process of Buddhism dissemination by the monks in Punphin District, Suratthani Province, and 3. To present the model of Buddhism dissemination of the monks in Punphin District, Suratthani Province.The researcher collected data from in-depth interviewing 18 key informants to analyze and synthesize data using content descriptive interpretation. Subsequently, the researcher presented the research outcomes and introduced a model designed to promote the spread of Buddhism through the Sangha.
The results showed that 1. The general condition of the propagation has a strong point: systematic administration. Has both worldly and religious knowledge. Weaknesses are the Sangha's lack of skilled personnel and use of technology. Opportunity is the Sangha's use of communication technology. People are aware of morality. Ready to strengthen unity. The obstacle is changing social trends. Drug epidemic problem. 2. The development of Buddhism dissemination in Punphin District, Suratthani Province, followed a structured approach. They conducted training on Dharma preaching, used lesson plans, and utilized technology for media dissemination. Implementation involved preaching according to principles and plans, Behavior was checked and knowledge testing, promoting Buddhist media and learning resources, and expanding news dissemination methods. 3. The Buddhism dissemination model of monks in Punphin District, Suratthani Province consisted of 5 styles: inserting 1) The art of public speaking, following the principles of rhetoric, involves incorporating local events and utilizing regional accents. 2) Teaching involves fostering analytical thinking and cultivating oneself as a role model. 3) Delivering a speech with freedom necessitates staying within clear and concise boundaries. 4) Applying foundational ethics and basic philosophical principles through practice and teaching. 5) Utilizing social media and organizing radio programs.
