THE MANAGEMENT OF THE DHAMMASUKSA TEACHING AND LEARNING IN SCHOOLS IN PHANOM DISTRICT, SURATTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were 1. To study the level of teachers’ opinions, 2. To compare teachers' opinions, and 3. to study problems, obstacles, and suggestions towards the management of Dharma studies teaching of schools at Phanom District. Surat Thani Province The research was conducted by the mixed methods., The quantitative research, data were collected from a sample of 180 people who were teachers in Phanom District. Surat Thani Province The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis using statistics including percentages, averages, standard deviations, inferential statistics. The qualitative aspects, data were collected by in-depth-interviewing 10 key informants and analyzed by content descriptive interpretation.

The results of the research were found that: 1. The level of teachers’ opinions, by overall, was at a high level. 2. Teachers of different genders and ages, by overall, did not have different opinions, rejected the set hypothesis. As for teachers with different education level and different positions, by overall, did have different opinions, accepted the set hypothesis. 3. Problems and obstacles were the lack of a joint meeting to plan the teaching and learning of Dharma studies. Not enough personnel with knowledge. The verification process was not clear. The inspection data was not used for improvement. And the suggestion was that: There should be a study of information and a planning meeting together. To train teachers to have skills, knowledge, and experience. It should be checked continuously. and use the results of the inspection to improve and develop.
