INTEGRATING SANGKHAHAVATTHAMMA PRINCIPLES TO PROMOTE THE LEADERSHIP OF LOCAL POLITICIANS PATHUMTHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. To study the leadership level of local politicians. in Pathum Thani Province 2. To study factors that promoted the leadership of local politicians. In Pathum Thani Province and 3. To present the integration of Sangahavatthu-dhamma principles for promoting the leadership of local politicians in Pathum Thani Province This research was conducted by the mixed methods. The quantitative research used questionnaires to collect data from 400 samples, calculated from Yamane’s formula by stratified random sampling. Descriptive and inferential analysis using statistical packages. The qualitative research, data were collected by in-depth interviewing 18 key informants, 2 monks and and 16 people, which were randomly sampled with experts who were experts in various fields who were knowledgeable and involved in the research, became an expert in religion, became a local political leader and expert in political science, expert in the management of local administrative organizations. Data were analyzed by content descriptive interpretation.

Findings were as follows: 1. Leadership level of local politicians Pathum Thani Province, by overall was at a moderate level. 2. Factors that promoted the leadership of local politicians, in Pathum Thani Province was found to be at a moderate level. 3 Integrating the principles of Sanghawattu-dhutham to promote the leadership of local politicians in Pathum Thani Province was found that using the principles of Sangkhawatthu-dhamma helped promote the leadership of local politicians. To have better leadership in the field of persuasion or influence with an ideology inspiration intellectual stimulation Consideration of individuality Make people accept and respect the leader. and intellectual stimulation that benefited both sides Two sides here meant the political side and the people side that were the joint beneficiaries.
