ADMINISTRATIVE MODEL OF MORALITY AND ETHICS TRAINING PROJECT FOR YOUTHS OF TEMPLES IN PRACHUAPKHIRIKHAN PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed: 1. To study the general conditions 2. To study the process 3. To present the management model of morality and ethics training project for youth of monasteries in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province.
The research method was qualitative. The key informants were the Sangha chief, the lecturer, the project supporter, the civil servant, the Buddhist management scholar, and the youth participants in the project, totaling 25 monks and people, and the focus group discussion, totaling 10 monks or people. The research instruments were in-depth interview script and focus group discussions script. Data were analyzed by descriptive content interpretation and summarized in an essay.

The research results were as follows: 1. The general conditions of the management of the morality and ethics training project for youth of monasteries in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province: In terms of people, the Sangha provided morality and ethics training to the youth. In terms of money, the Sangha provided compensation to the lecturer. In terms of things and places, the Sangha provided necessary media and equipment for lecturing on various activities. In terms of management, the Sangha managed the project in the training, focusing on planning and scheduling. 2. The process of project management included: 1. Planning; cooperation of all parties was important in planning and policy creation. 2. Operation; Organized internal and external training, develop online courses, and create an organizational culture that supports values and ethics. 3. Evaluation; Measure results for operations or projects. 4 Improvement: Improve and amend the training process. 3. Project management model consisted of: 1. Planning process: Set clear objectives and goals. 2 Project preparation process: Meet with stakeholders, define project scope. 3. Project implementation and control process; Check suitability and evaluate whether the results are in line with the goals and make appropriate adjustments or corrections. 4. Project closing process; Summarize the project performance, analyze strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and obstacles, and extract lessons learned from the morality training project.
