BUDDHADHAMMA APPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY STRENGTHENCE PROMOTION OF THAMANOW SUB-DISTRICT CHAIBADARN DISTRICT LOPBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research papers were: 1. To study the level of community strength, 2. To study the relationship between Saraniyadhamma 6 principles and the strength of, and 3. To study the application of Buddhist principles to promote the strength of the community at Tambon Tha Manao, Amphoe Chai Badan, Lop Buri Province, conducted by the mixed research methods. The quantitative research collected data from 346 samples and in-depth interviewing 10 key informants for the qualitative research.

Results were found that: 1. The promotion of community strength at Tha Manao Sub-District, Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province was at a high level, ranked as follows: Wealth, Sustainability, and Security. 2. The relationship between the 6 Saraniyadhamma principles and community strength showed that the overall relationship between the 6 Saraniyadhamma principles and the strengthening of the community in Tha Manao Sub-District, Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province was moderately positive. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect of Silasamanyata, moral conduct, in accordance with the rules, Mettamanokamma, loving-kindness, well wishing, Mettavacikamma, good speech, and Sataranabogi, knowing how to share. Mettakayakamma, behaving well, and Diddtisamanyata, common view ,seeing goodness, the relationship was slightly positive, respectively. 3. The guidelines for applying Buddhist principles to promote community strength were as follows: The strength of the community of Tha Manao Sub-district, Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province, was the result of applying the 6 Saraniyadhamma principles as a condition for applying them to create community strength. In terms of security, wealth, and sustainability. The 6 Saraniyadhamma principles, which were factors for the strength of the community of Tha Manao Sub-district, Chai Badan District, Lop Buri Province, consisted of people in the community behaving well physically, verbally, and mentally, sharing, respecting mutual rules, and having shared opinions.
