Abstract

This academic article aimed to comparatively analyze the concepts and practices of educational administration innovations in Thailand, Finland, and Japan. The study focused on approaches, management processes, and key success factors that contributed to educational innovation in each country. The findings revealed that Thailand emphasized Buddhist-based innovations focusing on morality, mindfulness education, and community participation. Finland’s innovations highlighted teacher autonomy and decentralized management, while Japan’s innovations centered on community-based management and collaborative teacher learning through the Lesson Study approach. The comparative analysis concluded that visionary leadership, stakeholder participation, and learning-oriented organizational culture were the key success factors across systems. The article proposed a Hybrid Moral–Digital Leadership Model to enhance Thailand’s educational administration toward global excellence.
