วารสารสำนักศิลปะและวัฒนธรรม มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏสงขลา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเวทีในการเผยแพร่ผลงานทางวิชาการและผลงานสร้างสรรค์ด้านศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมที่มีคุณภาพสูง โดยมุ่งเน้นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมทั้งที่จับต้องได้และจับต้องไม่ได้ อันประกอบด้วยวรรณกรรมพื้นบ้าน ภาษา ศิลปะ การแสดง วิถีปฏิบัติทางสังคม พิธีกรรม ขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีและเทศกาล ความรู้และแนวปฏิบัติเกี่ยวกับธรรมชาติและจักรวาล งานหัตถศิลป์พื้นบ้าน การละเล่นพื้นบ้าน กีฬาและการละเล่นพื้นถิ่น ศิลปะการต่อสู้ รวมถึงลักษณะทางวัฒนธรรมอื่น ๆ ที่สะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ของชุมชนและสังคม

วารสารมุ่งส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนการเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้ของคณาจารย์ นักวิชาการ นักศึกษา และผู้สนใจทั่วไป ทั้งในระดับชาติและนานาชาติ เพื่อเป็นพื้นที่แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ เสริมสร้างความเข้าใจทางวัฒนธรรม และสนับสนุนการอนุรักษ์ สืบสาน และพัฒนามรดกทางศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมอย่างยั่งยืน

The Journal of the Office of Arts and Culture, Songkhla Rajabhat University aims to serve as a scholarly platform for the dissemination of high-quality academic and creative works in the fields of arts and cultural heritage. The journal emphasizes both tangible and intangible cultural heritage, including folk literature and language, arts and performances, social practices, rituals, traditions, and festivals; knowledge and practices concerning nature and the universe; traditional handicrafts; folk games and sports; martial arts; and other cultural characteristics that reflect community identity and social diversity.

The journal encourages contributions from teachers, scholars, students, and interested individuals at both national and international levels. It seeks to promote academic exchange, foster cultural understanding, and support the conservation, transmission, and sustainable development of arts and cultural heritage in contemporary society.
