Abstract

The purposes of this research were to study learning achievement and the analytical thinking of eleventh grade students by using the active learning techniques. This research was a classroom action research. The participants in this study consisted of 33 eleventh grade students at Piboonbumpen Demonstration School, Burapha University. The research instruments were lesson plans based on active learning, learning achievement test, and the analytical thinking test. The data were analyzed by percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results revealed that:
1. The score of learning achievement development, after using the active learning was higher than before, was at high level with 75.61%.
2. The analytical thinking score, after using the active learning was higher than before, was at high level with 71.25%.
