Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop the analytical thinking and the learning achievement by 5E inquiry approach and analytical questions on linear motion in Physics subjects. The target group of this study was 10th grade students at Seansuk School. The instruments used in this study were the lesson plans of 5E inquiry approach and analytical questions on linear motion in Physics subjects, analytical thinking test on linear motion in Physics and learning achievement test on linear motion in Physics. The data were analyzed by effect size score. The results of the research were
1. The analytical thinking of linear motion after using 5E inquiry approach and analytical questions was higher than before learning and had high effect size score.
2. The post-test mean scores on analytical thinking of linear motion after using 5E inquiry approach and analytical questions were higher than 70 percent of criterion.
3. The learning achievement of linear motion after using 5E inquiry approach and analytical questions was higher than before learning and had high effect size score.
4. The post-test mean scores on learning achievement of linear motion after using 5E inquiry approach and analytical questions were higher than 70 percent of criterion.
