Abstract

The purpose of this research was to evaluate the English and Mathematics program curriculum of Piboonbumpen Demonstration School, Burapha University, using the CIPP Model to evaluate four dimensions: context, input, process, and output. The sample group of 152 participants was comprised of specialists experienced in curriculum and teaching, teachers, students in English and Mathematics program of the academic year of 2016 of Piboonbumpen Demonstration School and their guardians. The research instruments included questionnaires and document auditing survey forms. The data was analyzed, using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) to find percentage, mean and standard deviation.
Overall, the evaluation of school curriculum quality was good and passed the evaluation criteria. However, the evaluation of each aspect revealed that :
1. Regarding the evaluation of school context, the appropriateness of the goals of the curriculum, the structure of the curriculum and the subject contents was good and passed the evaluation criteria.
2. Regarding the evaluation of school input, the appropriateness of readiness and ability of teacher, learning materials, learning resources and budget was good and passed the evaluation criteria.
3. Regarding the evaluation of school process, the appropriateness of learning activity management, measurement and evaluation, and curriculum management was good and passed the evaluation criteria.
4. Regarding the evaluation of school output, the learner qualities was good and passed the evaluation criteria. The learner abilities in reading, analytical thinking and writing passed evaluation the criteria. The desirable characteristics of learner passed the evaluation criteria. Only the learning achievement in all subjects did not passed the evaluation criteria.
