Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) study the needs assessment, strategy formulation based on SWOT Matrix and 2) to propose strategies of education management development for employment of welfare schools under the office of special education administration. The sample population were the director 11 people and deputy directors 22 people, and 286 teachers, totally 319 people, obtained from stratified random sampling, plus purposively selected 4 experts were obtained by selecting a specific. The research instruments were a questionnaire on the needs of education for employment and a semi-structured interview form. The statistics used in this research were mean (gif.latex?x\bar{}), standard deviation (SD) and priority need index (PNImodified). The research results revealed that: 1) the needs assessment of educational management for employment. Overall was 0.172 when considered in each aspect, it was found that materials, equipment and learning resources had the highest priority need index (PNImodified = 0.181) followed by the academic department (PNImodified) equals 0.172. 2) The finding of SWOT Matrix interviewing experts found 6 main strategies and 20 sub-strategies. 3) A proposed strategics results by found that strategies for developing educational management for employment of welfare schools under the office of special education administration included 6 main strategies and 22 sub-strategies. Such as 1) develop the quality of educational management for systematically employed, 2) promote educational management for stable and sustainable employment, 3) develop personnel in educational management for professional employment, 4) to increase the potential of budget management in education management for employment, 5) improve the efficiency of material, equipment and learning resources management in the management of education for employment, and 6) create participation in education management for effective work.
