Abstract

The objectives of this quasi-experimental research were to study learning outcomes of online media technology on the content of Social Security. This research focused on the learning achievement of students before and after learning that technique and surveying learner’s satisfaction with online media. The sample group consisted of 90 students in courses Welfare and Social Security Management, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prince of Songkla University. The research tool consists of 10 pre-study multiple-choice questions (MCQ) and 50 post-study MCQ, which were met for content validity, difficulty index, and discriminatory power. The satisfaction questionnaire was applied from the quality-validated tool. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis, growth score, relative gain score, effectiveness index, T-test statistic, and effect size. Through the online social security lessons, the results have shown that sample students who enrolled in the course have a higher learning effectiveness. Where the average score after completing the course is statistically significantly higher than the average score before the course started at .001 level. Furthermore, the relative gain score was 61.22 percent with an effect size of 0.87, which is a high level. Meanwhile, it was found that many sample students have expressed a high level of satisfaction with the online social security lessons.
