Abstract
This research aimed to explore the need for road safety in order to develop a "ROAD SAFETY" activity model and study the effect of the use of the model through a participatory learning process. To raise awareness of road safety among junior high school students, the participants were 20 junior high school students at a medium-sized secondary school in Phitsanulok Province. The research instruments were in-depth interview questionnaires. Activity plan 1 recorded activity, an awareness test and a measure of satisfaction towards doing activities. Analyze data using content analysis. Average statistics E1/E2 standard deviation and Dependent t-test statistics. The results showed that the "ROAD SAFETY" activities using a participatory learning process had 4 stages: experience phases. Reflection and discussion conceptual stage and the experimental/ application of concepts applied to junior high school students who lack awareness of road safety. This makes students more road-conscious compared to before participating in an activity. And still being able to live a life safely from the dangers posed by the use of cars, use the road for real, the participatory learning process also allows students to share their experiences with others.
