Abstract
This research article aimed to develop the coaching – mentored process based on constructionism theory to enhance the ability of constructing and using the digital media for internship student teachers under the Rajabhat university consortium. This research employed the research and development methodology that consisted of 3 steps; 1) constructing and determining the quality of coaching – mentored process, 2) launching and studying the results of using the coaching – mentored process, and 3) studying the satisfaction of internship student teachers toward the coaching – mentored process. The research findings were as follows:
1. The results of constructing the coaching – mentored process revealed that 1.1) the coaching – mentored process was comprised 4 steps; 1) analyzing the problems based on creativity, 2) planning the problem management, 3) creating the work or products, and 4) present and evaluate the work or products. 1.2) the quality of coaching – mentored process which it was the effectiveness index, there was equal to 88 percentage which it was reached the set of criteria.
2. The results of using the coaching – mentored process revealed that 2.1) internship student teachers had more ability of constructing and using the digital media than its before using the coaching – mentored process with the statistical significance of 0.01 level, and 2.2) their abilities were reached the set of criteria with the statistical significance of 0.01 level too.
3. The result of studying the satisfaction of internship student teachers toward the coaching – mentored process revealed that the overviews and sub aspects of their satisfactions were at very high level.
