Abstract
The purposes of this study were: 1) to investigate components and indicators of cultural diversity management, 2) to verify the correlation between the components and indicators of model and the empirical data, and 3) to propose a cultural diversity management model in the extra-large school, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The sample of 420 administrators and teachers in Nakhon Ratchasima province, obtained through multi-stage random sampling. The instrument was a questionnaire and 0.888 reliability. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and confirmatory factor analysis with Mplus7 program and to evaluate the propriety, feasibility and utility of model considered by 7 experts. The results of the study revealed that: 1) the cultural diversity management consisted of 5 components as follows: (1) Cultural Leadership has 3 indicators, (2) Intercultural Communication has 4 indicators, (3) Cultural Training has 3 indicators, (4) Diversity Alignment has 3 indicators, and (5) Mentoring and Counseling program has 3 indicators. 2) The resulting model of cultural diversity management province was consistent with the empirical data with χ2 = 90.257, P-Value = 0.0521, Df = 70, RMSEA = 0.026, SRMR = 0.030, CFI = 0.996 and TLI = 0.993. 3) A cultural diversity management model in the extra-large school, Nakhon Ratchasima province consists of the model name, principles, objectives, succeeding goals and succeeding dynamics has the propriety, feasibility and utility at the highest level.
