Abstract

The aim of this research was 1) to study the design of the track for robot competition in STEM education, and 2) to study the effect of the track design to the STEM education by interviewing the participants of the KidBright AI Bot robot competition hosted by National Electronics and Computer Technology Center. The result shown that design of the competition’s track created the positive effect to the STEM education. The participants expressed
the challenge from the rules and obstacles, and the satisfaction from the visual design. The outcome of the research could be the guideline for applying design into robot competition for STEM education and development of the STEM education program with robot in the future.
