ADMINISTRATIVE FACTORS AFFECTING LEARNING ORGANIZATION OF SCHOOLS UNDER THE KAMPHAENGPHET PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1
Main Article Content
Abstract
The purposes of this research were to: 1) examine the levels of school administrative factors, 2) investigate the levels of learning organization in schools, 3) study the relationship between administrative factors and learning organization, and 4) develop predictive equations for administrative factors affecting learning organization. The sample consisted of 99 school administrators and 99 teachers selected through stratified sampling based on Krejcie and Morgan’s table. Data were collected using a five-point Likert scale questionnaire concerning administrative factors affecting learning organization. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis. The findings revealed that: 1) the overall level of school administrative factors was high, 2) the overall level of learning organization in schools was high, 3) administrative factors were positively correlated with learning organization at a high level (r =.503 – .640, p < .01), 4) the administrative factors affecting learning organization included administrators’ leadership (X1), organizational culture (X3), learning-supportive environment (X4), and organizational structure (X5). The multiple correlation coefficient (R) equal to 0.777 and the square of the multiplicative correlation coefficient (R2) equal to 0.604. The predictive power was 60.40 percent, which can be written in predictive equations of raw scores and standard scores, as follows: = 0.782 + 0.194 (X1) + 0.232 (X3) + 0.136 (X4) + 0.239 (X5)
= 0.225 (X1) + 0.305 (X3) + 0.170 (X4) + 0.291 (X5)
