บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความสามารถในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษ หลังจากการใช้วิธีการสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ และเปรียบเทียบความรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนก่อนและหลังจากการใช้วิธีการสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 จำนวน 20 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ใช้วิธีการสอนแบบโฟนิกส์ แบบทดสอบความสามารถในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษและแบบทดสอบความรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษแล้วนำข้อมูลที่ได้มาวิเคราะห์เพื่อหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและค่าร้อยละ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า นักเรียนมีความสามารถในการออกเสียงภาษาอังกฤษอยู่ในระดับค่อนข้างดี ผ่านเกณฑ์ที่กำหนดให้และนักเรียนมีความรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษเพิ่มขึ้น
