Presentation Techniques and Reflections of Thai Youth in Wan Kaew Award Youth Literature, Novel Genre B.E. 2562

Abstract

This research aimed to study the presentation techniques and reflections of Thai youth in Wan Kaew Award youth literature with a novel genre in B.E. 2562 in four novels: Meadow, Rice Field, Khao Kang and Me, I, Athitthan with Aliens, Thank You for Being Together, and The Boy Who Stopped Time.  The research was presented in descriptive and analytical form. The results identified five presentation techniques as follows: techniques for naming book titles, which include naming the book titles after main characters, places, pets, and themes or main ideas; techniques for narrating the story, where authors recount the story themselves or through protagonists; techniques for carrying on a story, which involves starting, progressing, and ending a story; techniques for creating characters, which include both realistic and surreal characters; and techniques for creating and presenting scenes, which include realistic and surreal scenes...
