Abstract

This research aimed at studying the description of community development at municipality of Ban Chang and the factors that influenced the economic, social and cultural of the community in Ban Chang District and analyzing the potentiality and adaptability for self-improvement in the future. The dynamics of social and economic stability of the community has created an impact on both domestic and international level. Thailand created the National Economic and Social Development Plan and presently, it has recently been adapted and implemented by the government through its community-based organizations such as in the district of Ban Chang. This resulted in making the social and cultural way of life of the Thai citizens into a better one. For fifty years Thailand has been intensively developing its economy that created rapid impacts on many things such as the boosting of industrial expansions. The factor that influenced change to the Eastern Region, for instance, was the 1st National Economic and Development Plan was been formulated in 1961 and through the years it has been revised and modified to suit the present needs of the country and the current government has adapted the 11th National Economic and Development Plan. Through the years, the east region especially from Sattahip to Ban Chang which is areas between Chonburi and Rayong has had a great deal of change in social and cultural way of life.
