Abstract
This article aims to analyze the symbolism, Role Dynamics and values of stepmothers and witches in children's literature, considering their influence on the growth process of the protagonists in various stories. Stepmothers and witches often appear as obstacles or enemies that challenge children, and confronting them is a process that promotes learning, development and the formation of children's mental characteristics. The study emphasizes the role of stepmothers as reflecting injustice, oppression and obstruction of change, and the role of witches as often symbolizing evil and mental tests that challenge children's ability to overcome obstacles. This analysis helps to understand the role of stepmothers and witches in children's literature in terms of reflecting the emotional and mental growth process of the protagonists. The dynamic changes in the roles of stepmothers and witches in children's literature allow children to gain a more complex and profound perspective on humans and society.
