Spatial Database for Local Development: Case study of Dong Lakhon Subdistrict

Abstract

                Spatial Database for Local Development: Case study of Dong Lakhon Subdistrict have a purpose to collect physical spatial data and create database in Dong Lakhon Subdistrict area with geo-informatics as well as to evaluate the use and satisfaction of users of the Subdistric database system in Dong Lakhon Subdistrict. Including evaluating the usage and satisfaction of users of the database system. The information that is collected and organized into a database consists of topography climatic characteristics, geology, soil characteristics and Streams. User evaluations are satisfied with the performance of the database system first, mean was 4.60 with the highest level of satisfaction. The second place is that this information system can be a medium for disseminating and publicizing information, news or activities of Dong Lakhon Subdistrict. The mean was 4.58 with the highest level of satisfaction. The third place is the database that can be used easily and not complicated. The mean was 4.51 with the highest level of satisfaction. Overall satisfaction with the system averaged 4.40, with a high level of satisfaction.
