THE INFLUENCING FACTORS OF LAMNARAI VOLCANIC GEOMORPHOLOGY
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents factors influencing the occurrence of Lam Narai volcano in Chai Badan District, Lopburi Province through the teaching process by studying information from the field and information from satellite images, related documents and research which be analyzed and discussed together. Morphology found include Lam Narai volcanic, mountain range, lone hills and hills, lava hills, river basins, and floodplains. It was found that the factors influencing the morphology of the Lam Narai volcano Chai Badan District Lopburi Province consists of structural geology including tectonics is the force acting on the earth's crust causing movement in the area. In addition, fault group were found faults and rock cracks in the area of Lam Narai Volcano at least in 3 directions: north-south, north-east, north-southwest and the north-western-southeast line. The geological hierarchy found that most of the rocks that cover the area are volcanic which is an igneous rock that cools on the earth's surface divided into 3 groups according to the composition of minerals in the rock, namely Andesite and basalt volcanic andesite, Pumice of the rhyolite (ry) unit and the pumice of the basalt (bs) unit. The climatic characteristics include temperature and precipitation, temperature will affect physical decay, rainwater is a natural contributor to the erosion of rocks around volcanic cones and lava slopes is the source of sediment and blow sediment to accumulate in low areas also rainwater also influences the soil profile formation process. This will affect the physical and chemical characteristics of the basalt decomposed soil. The last factor is land cover and land use are factors affecting the weathering and erosion of rocks and soils. including the development of soil construction.
