GUIDELINES FOR DEVELOPING HUMAN RESOURCE COMPETENCIES IN A DISRUPTION ERA OF SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES IN BANGKOK

Abstract
This article aims 1) to study the general situation related to the development of Human Resource Competencies in a Disruption Era of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok. 2) to set the guidelines for developing Human Resource Competencies in a Disruption Era of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok. and 3) to prepare the manual for developing Human Resource Competencies in a Disruption Era of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok. This research has been conducted by the mixed method research focused on both of qualitative and quantitative researches. From the sample groups of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok (SMEs), 9 informants were selected by using a purposive sampling method. The qualitative data were analyzed by using content analysis. 400 samples were selected by using quantitative questionnaire and the quota sampling technic. The research instrument was a set of questionnaires. The quantitative data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics i.e., frequency, percentage, mean (x), and standard division (S.D.)
The research results were found that 1) Human Resource Competencies in a Disruption Era of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok included personal competencies, core competencies, functional competencies, and organization competencies. 2) guidelines for developing 4 Human Resource Competencies in a Disruption Era of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok were found that (1) personal competencies needed to develop were personality, communication ability and information technology literacy. (2) core competencies needed to develop were collaboration skill, integrity and ethics, industriousness and responsibility (3) functional competencies needed to develop were continuous learning and self-development, professional expertise, and managerial management ability. and (4) organization competencies needed to develop were management skill, business expertise, and innovative thinking. and 3) the manual for developing Human Resource Competencies in a Disruption Era of Small and Medium Enterprises in Bangkok has brought competencies in all 4 areas as the guidelines for developing Human Resource competencies.
