Creation of Thai Puan woven patterns through ethnic identity to add value to the community. People in Pak Phli District, Nakhon Nayok Province

Abstract
The research on Tai Phuan colours: Synthesizing colour palettes from Tai Phuan ethnic cultural heritage for expanding the creation of woven fabric products in the Pak Phli District area, Nakhon Nayok Province is aimed to find out the cultural identity of the Tai Phuan ethnic group. This research is expected to distinctively increase the value of community products in the Pak Phli District area. Nakhon Nayok Province. The results of the research can be summarized as a set of 31 colour palettes from the cultural identity and traditions of the Tai Phuan ethnic group using data that has been collected from visiting the area by taking photos of the community's cultural traditions. The researcher then brought up the cultural structure of UNESCO as a reference to clarify the Tai Phuan ethnic identity from the said photographs. The research also uses references from important elements of traditional festivals such as Boon Klang Baan and Sart Phuan as additional factors to analyse and synthesise the ethnic identity of the Thai Phuan group. In the final process, the research uses a computer program to process colour combinations from photographic elements along with using the concept of visual scale theory to define colour sets according to emotional categories and meanings for future usage. The research also experimentally created a set of colours for the weaving product in the community to serve as a model for further development.
