INFORMATION LEADERSHIP MODEL FOR THE PRINCIPALS OF HIGH SCHOOLS IN PINGDINGSHAN CITY UNDER HENAN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) To examine the impact of Career Development, Counseling, Mental Health & Emotional Support, and Employment Resource Support on the Employment Intention of undergraduate graduates at Xi’an University of Finance and Economics; (2) To evaluate the moderating effect of Counsellor’s Service Leadership on these relationships between Career Development, Health & Emotional Support, and Employment Resource Support on Job search Intention, and (3) To assess the model’s fit with empirical data.


This study adopted a quantitative survey research. The population consisted of 4,170 undergraduate graduates from Xi’an University of Finance and Economics. The required sample size was determined using G*Power analysis, which indicated a minimum of 380 participants. The samples were obtained through a stratified random sampling method. Data analysis were employed descriptive statistics, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).


The research findings revealed that: (1) Employment Resource Support, Career Development Guidance, and Mental Health & Emotional Support all had non significantly effects on Employment Intention with moderation effect were controlled; and (2) Service leadership had positive moderated the relationship between counseling career development, mental health & emotional support, and employment resource support on job search intension except the moderation on the relationship between employment resource support and job search intension was negative. (3) The models fit well to the empirical data.
