The Study on the Development of Presentation for Construction by Augmented Reality (AR) Technology

Abstract

          This research was a research and innovation development. The objective was to use the innovation of Augmented Reality (AR) Technology and Revit programs to use in the
presentation and design of the construction to make it easier for customers to make decisions. The investigation of quality and the satisfaction were made through a sample of 30 people who applied Augmented Reality (AR) technology to present real construction work by choosing specific methods. Statistical values analyzed include frequency, percentage, mean,
and standard deviation. The results were found as followed: from the evaluation of the appropriateness by the experts in computer technology, it was at the most appropriate level with a mean of 4.67 and the standard deviation was equal to 0.53; and, from the evaluation of the appropriateness by the construction technology experts, it was at the most appropriate
level with a mean of 4.82 and the standard deviation of 0.08. Regarding the satisfaction, it was at a very appropriate level with the mean of 4.65 and the standard deviation of 0.59.
Therefore, it could be concluded that the Augmented Reality innovations for construction was able to reduce the error of different project presentations. It also helped with the budget
that may be exaggerated to the target and also allowed communication between foremen and consumers to be coordinated through the program to work very efficiently. The total
mean was at 4.27 and with the standard deviation of 0.53, with an overview at the most appropriate level.
