The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning With Concept Map To Develop Academic Achievements On Chromosomes And Genetic Material For Mathayomsuksa 4

Abstract

The objectives of the researcher were 1) to find the efficiency of The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map to be effective according to the 70/70 2) to comparison of achievement pre learning and post learning of using The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map of Mathayomsuksa 4 at Janokrong School. 3) to study satisfaction of using The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map of Mathayomsuksa 4 about Chromosome and Genetic Material.

          The sample consisted of 44 students in Mathayomsuksa 4/6 studying in the second semester of the academic year 2021, totaling 44 students. The tools used in this research were 1) a learning management plan on chromosomes and genetic material Number of learning management plans 5 plans, 18 hours 2) pre-study test and post-study test on chromosomes and genetic material 3) a questionnaire on satisfaction of using The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map of Mathayomsuksa 4 about Chromosome and Genetic Material. This study was an experimental research using One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The statistics used for data analysis were E₁/E₂ formula, mean, percentage, standard deviation. and t-test for Dependent.

          The results of the research showed that 1) The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map was as effective as 87.07/71.21 and meets the E₁/E₂ efficiency criterion of 70/70 2) comparisons of learning achievement before and after learning by using The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map have post-study test average score higher than pre-study test at the .05 level. 3) The students' satisfaction after receiving The 5Es of Inquiry-Based Learning with Concept Map about chromosomes and genetic material was a high level of satisfaction.
