แนวทางการจัดการกับการแพร่กระจายข่าวลวง ข้อมูลผิดพลาด และข้อมูล บิดเบือนทางสื่อออนไลน์: องค์ความรู้และบทเรียนจากต่างประเทศ

บทความวิจัยนี้นำเสนอผลการสำรวจแนวทางในการจัดการกับการแพร่กระจายข่าวลวง ข้อมูลผิด พลาด และข้อมูลบิดเบือนทางสื่อออนไลน์ในต่างประเทศ เพื่อแสดงภาพรวมเกี่ยวกับความพยายามและบท เรียนในการรับมือกับปรากฏการณ์นี้ โดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการวิจัยเอกสาร ได้แก่ บทความ วิจัยและวิชาการ รายงาน ผลสำรวจ และการรายงานของสื่อมวลชน ในช่วงปี ค.ศ. 2014 – 2019 ผลการวิจัย พบแนวทางการจัดการกับการแพร่กระจายข่าวลวง ข้อมูลผิดพลาด และข้อมูลบิดเบือน 5 แนวทาง ได้แก่ 1) กฎหมายและการกำกับดูแล 2) การให้การศึกษาด้านการรู้เท่าทันสื่อ 3) การตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริง 4) การ พัฒนาคุณภาพของงานวารสารศาสตร์ และ 5) การพัฒนาเทคโนโลยีที่มีความรับผิดชอบ
การศึกษาวิจัยที่ผ่านมาชี้ว่า การแพร่กระจายข้อมูลที่ทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจผิดเหล่านี้เป็นปัญหาที่ต้องได้ รับการแก้ไขเพราะมีผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพและสิทธิเสรีภาพของประชาชน ตลอดจนกระบวนการประชาธิปไตย และความมั่นคงของประเทศ ดังนั้น ระบบนิเวศของข้อมูลข่าวสารจึงต้องมีความโปร่งใส และมีการไหลเวียน ของข้อมูลข่าวสารอย่างเสรีและมีคุณภาพ เพื่อให้ประชาชนมีข้อมูลที่ถูกต้อง หลากหลาย เพียงพอต่อการใช้ ชีวิตและการมีส่วนร่วมในกระบวนการทางสังคมและการเมืองโดยไม่ถูกแทรกแซงจากกลุ่มอิทธิพล นอกจาก นี้ ยังมีการเสนอว่า การรับมือกับการแพร่กระจายข่าวลวง ข้อมูลผิดพลาด และข้อมูลบิดเบือน ควรเป็นการบู รณาการแนวทางต่างๆ และให้ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียทุกภาคส่วนมีส่วนร่วม เพื่อให้เกิดมุมมองที่หลากหลายใน การจัดการกับปัญหาในหลายมิติ
