ภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชั่น: กรณีศึกษาภาพยนตร์การ์ตูน 3 มิติของไทย

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากระบวนการสร้างงาน  ได้แก่  โครงเรื่อง (Plot), แก่นเรื่อง (Theme),ตัวละคร (Character), ฉาก (Setting), บทบรรยายและเสียง (Dialogue & Sound)รวมทั้งลักษณะเด่นของภาพยนตร์การ์ตูน 3 มิติของไทย โดยกำหนดขอบเขตการศึกษาจากภาพยนตร์การ์ตูน 3 มิติของไทย ที่ฉายในโรงภาพยนตร์ตั้งแต่ปี 2545-2558 จำนวน 8 เรื่อง ได้แก่ ปังปอนด์,ก้านกล้วย1-2 , เอคโค่จิ๋วก้องโลก, นาค, ยักษ์, พระมหาชนก และทองแดง

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า 1) โครงเรื่อง (plot) เนื้อหามักเป็นการอ้างอิงจากประวัติศาสตร์ และการสะท้อนให้เห็นถึงวิถีชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ของไทย ครอบครัวในแบบสังคมไทย  ความเชื่อ รวมทั้งเน้นเนื้อหาในเรื่องความกตัญญู ความเพียร  ความกล้าหาญ ความดีงามที่แฝงแนวคิดและค่านิยมที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของวัฒนธรรมไทย 2) แก่นเรื่อง (Theme) ให้ความสำคัญกับความกตัญญูรู้คุณตามหลักทางพระพุทธศาสนา ความดีย่อมชนะทุกสิ่ง และความมานะพยายามนำมาซึ่งความสำเร็จ รวมทั้งการเห็นคุณค่าของคน 3) ตัวละคร (Character) เป็นการออกแบบตัวละครในแบบของไทย โดยการนำตัวละครจากวรรณคดี ตำนาน หรือ สิ่งที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ของไทย เช่น ช้าง การแต่งกาย  มาสร้างตัวละคร 4) ฉาก (Setting) ฉากแสดงถึงเรื่องของบรรยากาศกับความรู้สึก บรรยากาศช่วงเช้าสื่อถึงการเริ่มต้นใหม่  ชีวิตใหม่  หรือการสิ้นสุดเหตุการณ์ที่เลวร้าย ช่วงเย็นและกลางคืน บรรยากาศของฉากสื่อถึงความรู้สึก เศร้า เหงา ความอ้างว้าง เดียวดายและความอบอุ่น ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะของความเป็นตะวันออก ส่วนฉากไม่ได้บ่งบอกถึงช่วงเวลา เป็นเพียงฉากที่ใช้เป็นบรรยากาศในการปูพื้นของตัวละครและสถานที่ นอกจากนี้ฉากกำหนดสถานที่เป็นฉากภายในและฉากภายนอก ฉากส่วนมากใช้สถานที่ภายนอกในการนำเสนอเรื่องราว 5) บทบรรยายและเสียง (Dialogue & Sound)  ในภาพยนตร์การ์ตูน 3 มิติของไทย มีส่วนประกอบ 3 ส่วน คือ  บทบรรยาย ส่วนมากเป็นลักษณะการเล่าเรื่องราวก่อนเปิดเรื่อง  ส่วนบทสนทนาพบว่าคำพูดเนื้อความส่วนมากเป็นการให้กำลังใจ ให้แง่คิดเสริมมุขตลก และสอดแทรกความเป็นวัฒนธรรมทางภาษาผ่านตัวละคร ด้านเสียงประกอบ (Effect) จะเกิดขึ้นในช่วงสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ ของตัวละครในเรื่อง หรือเหตุการณ์ที่น่าตะลึง เพลงบรรเลงประกอบส่วนมากที่ให้เห็นถึงช่วงอารมณ์ของตัวละครกับเหตุการณ์ รวมทั้งพบว่าการให้เสียงพากษ์ภาพยนตร์การ์ตูน 3 มิติของไทยนิยมใช้ดาราที่มีชื่อเสียงในการพากษ์  6) ลักษณะเด่น พบว่า ลักษณะเด่นของภาพยนตร์การ์ตูน 3 มิติของไทย คือ การออกแบบคาแร็กเตอร์ที่ได้ใช้เอกลัษณ์ของไทย เช่น สัตว์ประจำชาติ ตำนาน วรรณกรรม และประวัติศาสตร์ มาออกแบบคาแร็กเตอร์ที่คำนึงถึงความเป็นไทย และฉากมีความปราณีตในการเก็บรายละเอียดของงานออกแบบคล้ายเหมือนจริง รวมทั้งสะท้อนวิถีชีวิตของไทย โดยแสดงถึงสภาพความเป็นอยู่ สถาปัตยกรรม วัฒนธรรมประเพณี และความเชื่อ

Abstract

        The objectives of this research are to study the process of 3D Thai  Animated  Movie .including plot,theme,character,setting,dialogue & sound and the features of 3D Thai  Animated  Movie.The scope of the study.form 3D Thai Animation movie: Pang Pond, Khan Kluay One &two,Echo Planet,Naga,Giant,Maha Janaka and Thong dang The Inspiration.

        The study found the following :

        1.Plot: the content is usually based on history and reflects the Thai way of lifes the institution of the , Thai family unit,beliefs and emphasison virtues such as gratitude,perseverance, courage, positive thoughts and values which promote  the unique nature of Thai culture.

        2.Theme: focuses on gratitude as according to Buddhist principles, goodness wins over everything and endeavor  brings success, including the value of people.

        3.Character : character design in the Thai style could introduce characters from Thai literature and myths as well as the unqueen nature of Thai culture such as elephants and dressing them to create characters.   

        4.Setting: The setting portrays both atmosphere and emotion. For example, a morning setting can be used to imply the mood of the event, such as showing a new beginning, a new life or an event that has smoothly passed. On in other hand,evening and night settings create lonely and quiet feelings, warm colors and loneliness which is western style. A setting without the specific time of the day indicated provided an overall background and the atmosphere of characters and location. Furthermore, the settings indicated locations which were indoor and outdoor scenes but most of the settings were outdoor, in order to portray the stories.     

        5.Dialogue and Sound in of 3D Thai  Animated Movie consisted of three parts the Narrative is  thepre-opening story; conversation includes content to for encourage, giving thought or jokes and adding cultural language through the characters.; Sound effects occur to various situations of the characters in the story or in some stunning events. While, most of the soundtracks depict the emotions of the characters and the events. It was found that Thai 3D cartoon movie tends to use popular celebrities for voice dubbing.

        6.The characteristic features in of 3D Thai Animated Movie is characters design that was usually being adapted from Thai uniquely national animals or legends from literature and history. The setting is quite elaborate in order to keep the details of the original design. They reflect the Thai  way of life by showing living conditions, architecture, culture and traditions.
