            บทความนี้เป็นบทความวิชาการ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอหลักการที่สำคัญในการดูแลผู้สูงอายุ
พร้อมทั้งชี้ให้เห็นความสำคัญของนวัตกรรมทางสังคมสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ ซึ่งจะช่วยยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต ตอบสนองความต้องการของผู้สูงอายุในด้านต่างๆ ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ ตลอดจนช่วยลดความเหลื่อมล้ำทางสังคมได้มากขึ้น เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมในการเข้าสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุในประเทศไทย ทั้งนี้ การนำนวัตกรรมมาประยุกต์ใช้จะต้องพิจารณาและคำนึงถึงความต้องการและศักยภาพของผู้สูงอายุแต่ละบุคคลร่วมด้วย โดยนวัตกรรมที่ใช้ต้องสอดคล้องกับบริบทของพื้นที่และสภาพแวดล้อม อีกทั้งจะต้องเน้นการทำงานที่บูรณาการร่วมกันของทีมสหวิชาชีพ โดยมุ่งเน้นการมีส่วนร่วมของทุกภาคส่วน เพื่อให้ตอบโจทย์การให้บริการสำหรับผู้สูงอายุที่จะสามารถเข้าถึงเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมด้านต่างๆ ได้อย่างเหมาะสมและทั่วถึง อันจะส่งผลให้ผู้สูงอายุสามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้ ซึ่งท้ายที่สุดจะทำให้ผู้สูงอายุเหล่านั้นกลายเป็นผู้สูงอายุที่มีคุณภาพและศักยภาพ พร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงของสังคมในทุกมิติ

Abstract

            This article is academic article, contains the objectives of the importance of health care for the elderly. It also highlights the importance of societal innovation which enhances the quality of life and living to effectively reach different types of needs as well as help decrease the social inequality in order to prepare them ready for the elderly society. However, the applied innovative approach needed to be well considered by the personal demand and potentials of theirs. The requirement of such innovations must be related to the context of demography. Moreover, it must emphasize on the cooperatively integrated tasks done by the multidisciplinary team which all sectors have to take parts. Not only to serve the elderly to access the information technology accurately and appropriately but also help them strongly rely on themselves. As a result, these elderly groups will eventually become the ideal citizens with better quality and performance to withstand any changes in the future.
