Abstract

The purpose of this academic paper was to study the history and types of Buddhist Oriented Schools. The Buddhist Oriented Schools had evolved since 2002, divided into 5 eras. Rayal rewarded Buddhist Oriented Schools consist of the following principles of Buddhism, 1) Four Rddhippada : Dhamma for successful; (1) Chanda : being satisfied with what he or she does not want to want, desire too much which will lead to greed, (2) Viriya : diligence in that matter not easily discouraged when encountering obstacles, (3) Citta : do not give up intention in the middle, simple, concentrate on that thing, (4) Vãma§sà : investigation; examination; reasoning; testing, 2) Four Saïgahavatthu : bases of social solidarity; bases of sympathy; acts of doing favours; principles of service; (1) Dàna : alms, giving, sacrifice (2) Piyavàcà : words spoken, which are words spoken in a


sweet and pleasant manner (3) Atthacariyà: useful conduct; rendering services; life of service; doing good) (4) Samànattatà : even and equal treatment; equality consisting in impartiality, participation and behaving oneself properly in all circumstances, and 3) Gharàvàsa-dhamma : virtues for a good household life; (1) Sacca : truth and honesty, (2) Dama : taming and training oneself; adjustment; self-development, (3) Khanti : tolerance; forbearance; perseverance,Patience, (4) Càga : liberality; generosity.
