ANALYSIS OF REALITY OF THINGS ACCORDING TO THE THREE CHARACTERISTICS IN THERAVADA BUDDHIST PHILOSOPHY

Abstract

The objectives of this research article are as follows : 1) to study the concepts and theories about the reality of things, 2) to study the Three Characteristics in Theravada Buddhist Philosophy and 3) to analyze the reality of things according to the Three Characteristics in Theravada Buddhist Philosophy.                                                                                 The study found that concepts and theories about the reality of things include both Eastern and Western philosophical concepts. what is real that is the real thing, what is real which may or may not know through the senses. Something outside the senses. Reality according to the viewpoint of oriental philosophy, Reality means that noble knowledge is knowledge that liberates from worldly worlds. The realities of Western philosophy can be studied from the philosophy of idealism, materialism, and dualism. The Three Characteristics in Theravada Buddhist philosophy is that of the three common characteristics : all conditioned states are impermanent, all conditioned states are subject to oppression, conflict or suffering, all states are not-self or soulless. It can be analyzed whether the reality of all things according to the Three Characteristics in Theravada Buddhist philosophy is that the Three Characteristics is an inherent or natural state, or may be called it's the theory of decency because everything in the world will be in this same law or condition. The Three Characteristics is a Buddhist principle that aims to teach people to understand life as normal and as it really is. It raises awareness and understanding that how is life, become knowledgeable and be aware of every symptom of their practice.
