PHILOSOPHY IN THE THAI PERSPECTIVE

Abstract

This academic article aims to study philosophy in the view of Thai people. The results found that Thai academics have analyzed for a long time that “Is there a Thai philosophy? If so, how is it?. Is there a Thai philosopher? If so, who is he?” This problem : Philosophy is the concept of the world and life. People walk according to their own ideas or ideals. One's ideal is that person's life philosophy. This statement seems to be unique. It's not western universal or it's not an acceptable system. There are many argued that philosophy in the Thai people's perspective shouldhave both their original philosophies and those that have been adapted from Buddhism. Religiousideas and philosophy of Buddhist life is the cultural heritage of Thailand, customs, traditions andvalues that have long been regarded as ethical and aesthetic practices.
