TEACHING ENGLISH IN SCHOOLS UNDER THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ORGANIZATION IN THE NEW NORMAL ERA TO THE NEXT NORMAL ERA

Abstract

This academic article is aimed to study about the English learning pattern from new normal to next normal era. Teaching English in a new normal allows educational institutions to consider a teaching pattern that is appropriate for the current situation. 5 patterns of teaching and learning management have been arranged by the Ministry of Education namely; On-line, On-air, On-demand, On-hand, and On-site by sticking to the security of the learners, teachers, and guardians as it is the priority which will lead to the next normal era after the pandemic period. Teachers and educational staff need to be ready and adjust themselves to develop their skills in order to fulfill their competency for the learners to gain potential with the education opportunity. Teachers are ready with their determination to develop their students to gain knowledge with the sustainability ethic.
