THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRAINING COURSE ON THE ART OF TRADITIONAL THAI SMALL PUPPET SHOW BASED ON JOE LOUIS TECHNIQUES FOR PHRANAKHON RAJABHAT UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The purposes of this research were 1) to study the traditional thai small puppet show skills of the students after attended training course on the art of traditional thai small puppet หhow based on Joe Louis techniques for Phranakhon Rajabhat University, 2) determine how satisfied they were from attending the training course on the art of traditional thai small puppet show based on Joe Louis techniques for Phranakhon Rajabhat University. The population from faculty humanities and social sciences in major classical dance and drama and College of Teacher Education major dance education of Phranakhon Rajabhat University with a total number of 118 people. The sample in the experiment comprised 21 students from Phranakhon Rajabhat University in semester 2 for academic year 2022. The research instrument were a thai small puppet skill evaluation form and a satisfaction assessment form. The data were statistically analyzed by using percentage, mean and standard deviation.
The research finding indicated that :
1. The skills of traditional thai small puppet show after using training course on the Art of traditional thai small puppet show based on Joe Louis techniques for Phranakhon Rajabhat University was at the good level (x̅=68.34, S.D.=0.12).
2. The satisfaction toward the training Course on the art of traditional thai small puppet show based on Joe Louis techniques for Phranakhon Rajabhat University was at the highest level (x̅=4.61, S.D.=0.58).
