Abstract

The objective of this article is 1. to study the philosophy of Socrates 2. to study the concept of Socrates and 3. to study dialectical processes by studying from primary documents and other related academic texts and use the data to analyze and summarize the results in descriptive

The study revealed as the following:  

1. 1. The philosophy of Socrates is that the wise king is a good ruler. Guru is a person with knowledge. Is a person with virtue and encourage people to do good.


2. The concept of Socrates is wisdom meaning knowledge about goodness. Courage means knowledge about things that we should fear and should not be afraid. Temperance means sanctioned life and justice means expression in the form of actions that respect the rights of others and refusing to do evil to others.


3. Dialectic method is the important principle of this process is applying a rational proposal (Thesis) and objections (Antithesis) come to clear each other. Principles of use. T. Thinking (T) meaning thinking, looking for details of various issues. Analysis (A) means referring to considering various issues whether the details are correct or not. Discrimination (D) means the breakdown into sections and groups with the same issues.
