Factors affecting efficiency improvement of performance for traffic police in the royal project

Abstract

Objectives of this research were 1. to study the level in efficiency of performance of traffic polices in the royal project and 2. to compare personal factors affecting such performance. A sample was selected 100 traffic polices in the royal project. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test independence and One-way ANOVA, data analysis using social science software packages.

The results of this study as follows:

1. Most of efficiency improvement of traffic police in the royal project were in a high level (=4.35, S.D.=0.39) When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average value of the top 3 at a high level was awareness of common interest in the organization at a high level (=4.39, S.D.=0.48), job responsibility at a high level (=4.38, S.D.=0.43) and teamwork at a high level (=4.38, S.D.=0.43).


2. The perspective of comparative between personal factors and the efficiency improvement of traffic police in the royal project, classified by education levels, governmental service period found that it is not different. When classified by age and average monthly income was found that significantly differently at .05.
