Waste management and trash separation Case Study: Bueng Kho Subdistrict Administration Organization

Abstract

The objective of this action research paper is to study the causes of problems and solutions to improve the productivity of the organization. By using concepts and charts showing causes and results to analyze the cause of the problem. Use the Quality Management Cycle (PDCA) to improve and apply in the administration of Bueng Kho Sub-district Administration Organization. To study and collect data in the real location In-depth interviews with 20 key informants as well as observing the overall work of the actual organization. The results of the research showed that; 1. The problems encountered are 1) the staff and the public do not throw the trash into the place. 2) the trash is not enough and the place is not placed in the spot. 3) there is no inspection of the trash that is placed as a point or not causing the temporary hiring of a housekeeper to handle. Cleaning and looking after the garbage causes cost of employment. The cause of the problem is the insufficient trash location and the staff is not responsible for maintaining cleanliness. And 2. The solution to improve the productivity of the service organization of the local administrative organization by using the tools to improve the productivity can be applied to the administration of Bueng Kho Sub-district Administration Organization, starting from hiring a temporary maid to manage Cleaning and looking after the garbage, resulting in the cost of employment 4 times a week, 16 times a month. 350 baht, including all expenses in a 1 month period of 5600 baht from employment. And after the improvement, the housekeepers were hired only 4 times a week and reduced to only 3 times a week, 12 times a month.350 baht, including the total expenses in 1 month of 4200 baht or a decrease of 133.33%
